A few weeks back I put out that I was looking for models to practice on for my portrait and fashion photography. McGill University student Kim Paquette volunteered, and I am so pleased with how our shoot turned out. Kim has never modeled before, but she was a natural in front of the camera. She was extremely poised and professional. I also loved her confidence, too.
We decided to meet in Boston's West End neighborhood, which to be honest is a neighborhood that I didn't even know existed a year ago. It doesn't really have the greatest spots for photography, but we found a few interesting locations.
I think the best thing about the West End is the path from there to the Esplanade. And our timing couldn't have been more perfect, as we reached the bridge right at sunset.
Without further ado, here are my favorite shots from the day. I hope you enjoy!
